La integración del ODS 5 en la investigación y enseñanza de la Universidad de Alicante

Abstract

Los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible han supuesto que la Universidad de Alicante (UA) ponga en marcha actuaciones para impulsar su integración en las aulas. En base a ello, este estudio se planteó para (1) conocer la producción científica de la UA sobre la integración del ODS 5 en la docencia y (2) analizar su relación con un conjunto de variables sociodemográficas (sexo, edad, antigüedad, categoría profesional y facultad de adscripción). Para esto, se recurrió al repositorio institucional y se contó con la colaboración de 308 docentes. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo y correlacional con el software SPSS v. 25. De los resultados se deduce la inexistencia de una línea de investigación consolidada sobre esta temática, así como la falta de influencia de dichas variables en la incorporación del ODS 5 en la docencia. Se precisa de esfuerzos adicionales para consolidar el compromiso institucional y docente con la igualdad de género.

The Sustainable Development Objectives have entailed the implementation of actions to promote their integration in the classroom from the University of Alicante (UA). Based on this, the present study sought (1) to know the scientific production of the UA on the integration of the SDG 5 in teaching and (2) to analyse its relationship with a set of socio-demographic variables (gender, age, experience, professional rank and faculty of affiliation). To this end, the institutional repository was used and 308 teachers collaborated. A descriptive and correlational analysis was carried out with the software SPSS v. 25. From the results, it is deduced the non-existence of a consolidated research line on this topic, as well as the lack of influence of these variables in the incorporation of the SDG 5 in teaching. Additional efforts are needed to consolidate the institutional and teaching compromise with gender equality.
