dc.description.abstractHighlights • A count model for the determinants of hotel advance booking is proposed. • Prices have a decreasing effect that is less than proportional. • Long stays at holiday homes increase the days of advanced booking. • Booking in July and August, as well as large party size, imply longer anticipation. • Reservations through DMO channels are related to longer advanced booking.es_ES
