PEAI -3 AÑOS. Prueba de evaluación del aprendizaje infantil para la prevención de las dificultades escolares al inicio de Educación Infantil

Abstract

The value of initial assessment is evident as it allows the educational process to be adapted to the characteristics of the learners, so that the earlier it is implemented, the greater the advantages for both educators and students, as it allows the work plan to be adapted to the needs of the learners. However, there are few scientifically validated educational resources available to teachers to respond to this situation. With this aim in mind, this study has been carried out with the purpose of designing a child learning assessment test (PEAI-3 years) aimed at facilitating the detection of students who are at risk of learning difficulties in the early years. The test administered to 306 students aged 3 and 4 years old at the end of the first year of Infant Education. The analyses carried out show that the test is a reliable and valid tool for collecting information on the construct it measures, which shows that we have a validated instrument of great interest that applied in different contexts for the detection of learning difficulties at the beginning of immersion in the educational system.
