Abstract: | The work we present about Gutierre de Cetina's poetry is based on Antonio García Berrio's Text-typology of the Classical Sonnets. This article aims at studying the technical procedures in the argumentative construction of Gutierre de Cetina's sonnets, especifically the questions involved in a basic aspect of the theory, the actantial modalities. So we have illustrated the distant attitude towards the Lady and we have remarked a pronounced tendency to a dramatic configuration of the sonnet, as soon as the rigid adaptation of the traditional matters in comparison with the flexibility that they acquire in Garcilaso's poetry. |
