Los stakeholders y la actitud medioambiental de los directivos: un estudio QUAL/QUAN

Abstract

El propósito de este estudio es doble. Por un lado, identificar los stakeholders que ejercen una mayor presión sobre la empresa, así como el grado de cooperación existente entre la empresa y estos grupos. Por otro lado, responder a la siguiente pregunta: ¿cómo incide, y de qué forma, la actuación de los stakeholders sobre la actitud del directivo del medio ambiente como oportunidad competitiva en diferentes sectores? Para ello, realizamos una investigación empírica en dos fases: QUAL/QUAN (cualitativa y cuantitativa). La primera fase implica el desarrollo de un estudio de caso múltiple a ocho empresas españolas pertenecientes al sector primario, secundario y terciario. La segunda fase recoge el desarrollo de un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales para una muestra de 239 hoteles y 208 empresas afectadas por la ley IPPC en España.

The purpose of this study is double. On the one hand, to identify what stakeholders have more pression in the firm, as well as the degree of cooperation between the firm and these groups. On the other hand, to respond to the following question: How, and in which way, does stakeholders 'actions influence on the managers 'attitude about the environment as a competitive opportunity in different sectors? We make an empirical research in two phases: QUAL/QUAN (qualitative and quantitative). First phase implies the development of a multiple case study to eight Spanish firms in the primary, secondary and tertiary sector. Second phase shows the development of a structural equations model for a sample of 239 hotels and 208 firms affected by IPPC law in Spain.
