Estudio histórico-iconográfico de los grafitos de la Casa de los Irurita (Lorca, Murcia)

Abstract

A la singularidad arquitectónica, artística e histórica del inmueble conocido como Casa de Los Irurita, se une la peculiaridad de contar con un interesante conjunto de grafitos históricos, cuya evolución y repertorio iconográfico está relacionado con el devenir arquitectónico y funcional de esta importante casa-palacio lorquina. Se estudian los motivos distribuidos en la primera planta del edificio, especialmente en los muros de la galería que rodea el contorno de lo que en su día fuera el patio interior de la vivienda, así como los existentes en las jambas de las ventanas que abren a la calle Corredera algunas de las estancias de dicha planta.

The architectural, artistic and historical uniqueness of the property known as Casa de Los Irurita, is unheal to the peculiarity of having an interesting set of historical graphites is linked, whose evolution and iconographic repertoire are related to the architectural and functional evolution of this important palace house. The study of the motifs distributed on the first floor of the building, especially in the walls of the gallery that surrounds the outline of what was once the inner courtyard of the house, as well as those existing in the door jambs from the windows of the rooms to Corredera Street.
