Nuevas aportaciones al conocimiento del género Thymus L. (Labiatae) en la Cordillera Ibérica

Abstract

Se comenta el estado actual de nuestros conocimientos sobre un grupo de tomillos rastreros (Thymus, sect. Hyphodromi, Labiatae) presentes en la Cordillera Ibérica. Se discuten sus características morfológicas, sus diferencias y su distribución conocida, así como los híbridos que forman en la zona, describiéndose dos nuevas notosubespecies del grupo en el extremo más occidental de su área de distribución.

Comments on the current knowledge about creeping thymes of Thymus sect. Hyphodromi (Labiatae) occurring in the Iberian Mountain Range are presented. Their morphological characteristics, differences and their known distribution, as well as the hybrids in which they participate in that area, are discussed including the description of two new nothosubpecies of the group from its westernmost area.
