Abstract: Biological control against runoff with the use of Tamarix gallica Wahl. Seems to give interesting results, both economically and ecologically. The stabilization of soil threatened and subjected to erosion yet the installation of a herbaceous layer is clearly visible after exclosure. Dendrometric results are also presented in the dynamic component and confirm phytoecological interest of this species when it is protected. The results depend on an exclosure, show a biological recovery or Tamarix gallica that plays a decisive role in the fight against erosion by stimulating some phytoecological evolution and soil stabilization. View the ecological role of Tamarix gallica in an arid area, we recommend the protection of this species and also their use in planting programs in arid zone.
