Enseñanza y reforma educativa en Alcoi e Ibi durante el siglo XVIII

Abstract

El apoyo de los municipios fue determinante en la ejecución del proyecto de reforma educativa de Carlos III. En este artículo se desvela la notable implicación del pueblo de Ibi en la mejora de su sistema educativo, así como la participación de los franciscanos en la erección de un colegio de latinidad en Alcoi, establecimiento clave en el desarrollo de la educación secundaria en esta ciudad.

The support of the municipalities was determining in the execution of the project of educative reform of Carlos III. In this article is revealed the notable implication of the people of Ibi in the improvement of its educative system, as well as the participation of the Franciscans in the erection of a school of Latin grammar in Alcoi, the key establishment for development of the secondary education in this village.
