Abstract: 
Quizá nos lleve el viento al infinito no es una novela ni fácil de leer ni de interpretar. Desde su aparición, lectores y estudiosos han ido adscribiéndola a diferentes géneros narrativos desde la ciencia ficción hasta la novela intelectual. Su análisis asimismo ha ido ofreciendo un sinnúmero de conexiones con todo tipo de preocupaciones metafísicas y ontológicas. En este artículo, partiendo de la primera recepción de la obra y de sus mimbres cervantinos, se estudia la novela como una fantasía descabellada del último Torrente, pero no el peor.
Quizá nos lleve el viento al infinito is not a novel easy to read or interpret. Since its appearance, readers and scholars have been ascribing it to different narrative genres from science fiction to the intellectual novel His analysis has also offered innumerable connections with all kinds of metaphysical and ontological concerns. In this article, starting from the first reception of the work and the links to Cervantes, the novel is studied as a descabellada fantasy of the last Torrente, but not the worst.
