De la maternidad al empoderamiento: una panorámica sobre la representación de la mujer en la ficción española

Abstract: 
La ficción televisiva asume un papel socializador que influye en la configuración de la identidad colectiva. Así, la influencia de la ficción en la construcción social de la mujer adquiere mucha importancia, debido a su capacidad de configurar identidades, influir en comportamientos y condicionar el proceso de socialización. Este artículo pretende profundizar en la evolución temporal e histórica en la representación femenina en la ficción española y establecer prospectivas sobre las tendencias en dicha representación. Para ello, se ha trabajado sobre una metodología cualitativa, de corte socio-semiótico que analiza las series más longevas y de mayor audiencia de historia de la ficción española desde dos contextos distintos: el familiar y el profesional, para conocer el papel que se ha otorgado a las mujeres en sendos entornos de ficción. Los resultados aportan conclusiones relevantes alrededor del papel de la mujer en la ficción española: la mujer en el contexto familiar sigue asumiendo el rol de madre y esposa, mientras que, en el entorno laboral, desempeña su carrera a la sombra de los hombres. Todo ello, con pinceladas de empoderamiento que camuflan, pero no eliminan, los brotes patriarcales que siguen condicionando a la sociedad y, por ende, a la ficción.
TV fiction assumes a socializing role that influences the configuration of the collective identity. So that, the influence of fiction on the social construction of women becomes very important thanks to its ability to configure identities, influence behaviors and condition the socialization process. This paper aims to deepen the temporal and historical evolution of woman representation in Spanish fiction and to establish perspectives in this representation. For this, we have worked on a qualitative methodology, with a socio-semiotics focus, that analyzes the longest series with more audience in the history of Spanish TV fiction, from two contexts: Family and profesional, to know the role that has been given to women in different contexts of fiction. The results provide relevant conclusions about the role of women in Spanish TV fiction: the woman in the family context continues assuming the role of mother and wife, while in the work context, she develops her work under the control of man. All this, with reflections of empowerment that, after all, do not eliminate the patriarchal marks of society and, therefore, of TV fiction.
