| Resumen: | Fourteen names of North African taxa belonging to Biscutella ser. Biscutella (= ser. Lyratae Malin.), and described by Candolle, Willdenow and Maire, are typified here as a first step towards a taxonomic revision of that series. Lectotypes are designated from syntypes and original material conserved in the herbaria B and MPU: additionally, two epitypes are also designated. Furthermore, some historical comments are reported to support each type selection. |
