Description:	El Congreso se realizó en Villena, en el Teatro Chapí, entre los días 30 de agosto y 2 de septiembre de 1974. El Congreso abordó, en otros temas, el espíritu religioso de la fiesta y el papel de la mujer en la misma. También hubo cierta polémica por la no participación de ninguna filada alcoyana en el desfile que cerraba el Congreso.
