Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of university students towards the subject of corporal expression and the differences according to gender. The sample consisted of 82 students from the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences degree. The instrument used was an 18-item motivation scale. The main results show that within the three dimensions analyzed, the one that obtained the highest scores is commitment and delivery, followed by perception of motor competence, in terms of the dimension on anxiety before error, our data project that This type of situation does not create moments of anxiety in the students.Through this data it could be observed that students had an average motivation towards the contents of Body Expression, so it would be interesting to facilitate certain behaviors towards the extrinsic motivation of the students towards that subject.
