The vicissitudes of the war brought about a radical change in the poet's life experiences, and her lyrical production declined considerably, conforming to the demands of the brutal historical moment Spain was undergoing. In this paper, we study the corpus of poems that Champourcin produced during 1937 and 1938, published in two magazines committed to promoting the ideology of Republican Spain: Hora de España and Poesía Española, the literary supplement to the Boletín del Servicio Español de Información (Bulletin of the Spanish Information Service). Before carrying out our analysis, we contextualise our research with a survey of women's poetry published in the press during the war, whose scarcity is a good illustration of the difficulties faced by Spanish intellectuals when dealing with a new historical reality that drastically put a halt to the advances in women’s rights during the previous decade.2024-03-18T00:00:00ZAggregate GDP and the economy sectors in Ecuador: A time series studyAyaviri-Nina, DanteCevallos Briones, JoselinQuispe Fernandez, GabithGiner Pérez, José Miguelhttp://hdl.handle.net/10045/1414472024-03-14T01:12:00Z2022-05-01T00:00:00ZTítulo: Aggregate GDP and the economy sectors in Ecuador: A time series study
Autor/es: Ayaviri-Nina, Dante; Cevallos Briones, Joselin; Quispe Fernandez, Gabith; Giner Pérez, José Miguel
Resumen: This study determines the relationship between the aggregate GDP and the economic sectors of Ecuador in the period 2000-2018, through a time series analysis. The analysis is performed from two approaches: first, through a multiple linear regression model that allows determining the relationship between variables, and second, through an independent cointegration analysis for each set of variables. The dependent variable corresponds to GDP by the production approach and six independent variables that group the Gross Value Added. The results highlight manufacturing as the activity with the highest relationship with GVA, where by increasing manufacturing GVA by one percentage point, GDP will increase by 0.33 percentage points.

It was 1820 when the Hispanist Lord Holland published a booklet on the supression of the Jesuits from Hispanic monarchy’s territories, an order decreed in 1767 by Carlos III. Although it was an event that shocked Seventeenth-century Europe it is striking it was published 53 years after the banishment of those regulars of the Society of Jesus, what verified that even then, those events aroused genuine interest. Our intention in this article is to outline this noble Englishman profile, a passionate man about Spanish culture and politics, along with the Elizabeth Vassal-Fox, well-known traveller and diarist; the relationships that linked this couple with relevant figures close to the Spanish court and contrast the opinions that both present about the expulsion of these religious and the consequences for Spain of their exile, ending with an approximation of the possible circumstances that led him to publish his manuscript precisely on that date.2023-12-30T00:00:00ZGeógrafas pioneras: intrépidas y viajeras (siglo XVIII al XX)Padilla, AscensionÁvila-Martínez, María Teresahttp://hdl.handle.net/10045/1397342024-01-16T01:05:14Z2023-12-12T00:00:00ZTítulo: Geógrafas pioneras: intrépidas y viajeras (siglo XVIII al XX)

An ongoing concern in our discipline is to recover the contributions made to academia and society by women geographers who remain in oblivion. In this research, we have brought to light and rescued those who were trailblazers in Geography and who, probably, were models and examples for other women. After an intensive information search, forty-two women geographers from various parts of the world have been identified. With their names; year of birth and death; country of origin; awards or membership in geographical associations; contributions to academia or to society; and places explored, we have created a database that allows us to establish relationships between their biographies. The results obtained from this analysis have been structured in four sections: pioneering students and teachers in Geography, recognition by geographical societies, scientific contributions to academia and society, and places visited analyzed from a geographical perspective. Most probably, it is possible that not all of them are included, so the authors will continue their search to make them visible and prevent them from being forgotten.2023-12-12T00:00:00Z
