Abstract: 
Amb aquest article pretenem donar a conéixer dos dels ritus que es duien a terme al municipi de Xàbia durant la Pasqua. D’una banda, la salpassa anunciava l’inici de la Setmana Santa (ja que es feia Dilluns, Dimarts i Dimecres Sant), i de l’altra, els gloriosos proclamaven la joia de la resurrecció mitjançant els seus versos el mateix Dissabte de Glòria. En ambdós casos es posa de manifest l’esperit crític i satíric del moment, amb la finalitat de gaudir i fer burla tant d’algunes persones de la localitat com d’aquells aspectes que creien que calia millorar, novetats o fins i tot els problemes de la societat.
The objective of this article is to create awareness concerning two of the rituals that used to be carried out in Xàbia during Easter. On the one hand, the salpassa annouced the beginning of the Holy Week (since it was performed on Holy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and, on the other, the gloriosos proclaimed the joy of resurrection through its verses on Holy Saturday. Both cases expose the critical and satirical spirit of the moment, with the purpose of having fun and mocking both some of the local people and those aspects that were thought to need some improvement, novelties or even social problems.
