Abstract: 
El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio tipográfico de los dating shows televisivos, con especial atención a los emitidos en España, en un intento por categorizar los diferentes sub-formatos que se han derivado de éste y establecer tipologías pasadas y presentes y visualizar tendencias a futuro. El objetivo fundamental es proponer una aproximación histórica y de contenido alrededor de la evolución del dating show en España y poner sobre la mesa una radiografía sobre qué ha habido, qué hay y qué está por llegar en este contexto, atendiendo a la programación emitida en los últimos años, sus características y sus vinculaciones con la telerrealidad.
This article focuses on the typographic study of dating shows, with special attention to those issued in Spain, to categorize the different sub-formats that have been derived from it and establish past and present typologies and future trends. The main objective is to propose a historical approximation around the evolution of the dating show in Spain and to explain what has happened, what happens now and what is yet to come in the context of dating shows, the programmes emitted in the last years, its characteristics and its connections with reality TV.
