Abstract: 
El presente trabajo aborda el estudio del delito de uso de información privilegiada realizado por un particular del art. 418 CP tras su reciente reforma por la LO 1/2015, de 30 de marzo. Concretamente, se analizan sus diversos elementos y se precisa el ámbito típico de este ilícito, que atenta contra el interés de la Administración pública en mantener la confidencialidad de su actividad.
This paper covers the study of the abuse of privileged information offence set forth in article 418 of the Spanish Criminal Code after its recent modification by Spanish Organic Law1/2015, of 30th March. Specifically, it analyzes the offence various elements and defines its usual scope which violates the interest of the public Administration as to the maintenance of confidentiality in its activity.
