Abstract: 
Critics usually describe Q. D. Leavis as the author of the influential Fiction and the
Reading Public and as F. R. Leavis's wife. However, although both critics are concerned
with the relationship between literature and life, she has a style of her own and wider
interests. The present bibliography of all writings by and about her is an attempt to
contribute to her long-due recognition as an important figure in contemporary literary
criticism.
