Abstract: An afocal two-element holographic enlarger composed of two holographic lenses made as volume phase holograms on silver halide sensitized gelatin is analyzed. The magnification of the system and its maximum diffraction efficieny are -4 and 55%, respectively. The imaging performance of the system is analyzed and some applications are briefly described.
