El valencià segons l’enquesta del SIES de 2015

Abstract

Aquest treball ofereix un estudi descriptiu de la darrera enquesta del SIES (Servei d’Investigació i Estudis Sociolingüístics) de 2015. S’hi presenten els resultats, en primer lloc, de les quatre habilitats del coneixement; en segon lloc, de l’ús en diferents àmbits, com ara la casa, els amics, els comerços, el treball, les TIC i, també, la llengua que s’usa en escriure distints tipus de texts, i, en tercer lloc, de l’actitud dels parlants. D’altra banda, estudiem també algunes variables socials (edat, zona, població, etc.) però només en uns quants àmbits elegits. En aquest treball, al marge d’estudiar els resultats d’aquests tres elements sociolingüístics, també volem oferir una visió de l’evolució del coneixement, de l’ús i de l’actitud en les diferents enquestes realitzades pel SIES des de 1989 ençà, a fi de conèixer les tendències que marquen cada índex amb l’objectiu d’obtenir un millor panorama de la situació sociolingüística valenciana actual.

This research offers a descriptive study of the 2015 SIES (Sociolinguistic Studies and Research Service) survey. We present the results of the four knowledge skills; of the usage in different contexts, such as the home, circles of friends, shopping, work and the ITCs; of the language used in different types of texts; and of the speakers’ attitudes. We also examine some social variables (age, area, towns, etc.) in some specific contexts. Apart from studying the results of these three sociolinguistic elements, in this research we also aim to offer an overview of the evolution of the knowledge, use and attitude in the different surveys carried out by the SIES from 1989 onwards, in order to determine the trends of each element, which will give us a better idea of the current Valencian sociolinguistic situation.
