Fernando de Loazes y el mundo clásico

Abstract

A partir de las referencias al mundo clásico que se localizan en la obra de Fernando de Loazes, nos preguntamos en este artículo si este autor puede incluirse en el Humanismo Renacentista. Tras analizar brevemente su biografía, el legado a la ciudad de Orihuela y una muestra de las propias citas concluimos con una respuesta negativa.

In this article we make a revision of the many references to the Classical world that are contained in Fernando de Loazes' works with a view to decide whether he should be considered one of the Renaissance Humanists. After a short analysis of his biography, his legacy to the city of Orihuela as well as the above mentioned references, we answer the previous questions negatively.
