Resumen:	The coinage and spread of food porn, particularly on some media-related websites such as Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram, has triggered the semantic duplicity of this neologism on the Internet. That is, new compounds, such as torture porn and cabin porn, have also been coined to refer to semantically associated concepts. This article looks into the nature of the base –porn through the analysis of the semantic and morphological structures of the units collected from the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA [Davies 2008–]) and the Corpus of News on the Web (NOW [Davies 2013]).
