Notas sobre Phelipaea reuteriana Rchb. f. (Orobanchaceae)

Abstract

Recientemente se ha demostrado que Phelipaea reuteriana Rchb. f. es el nombre prioritario para Orobanche tunetana Beck, habiéndose rescatado aquél en el género Phelipanche Pomel (= Orobanche sect. Trionychon Wallr.). En la presente nota, sobre la base de los datos moleculares accesibles, se discute la conveniencia de separar las distintas secciones de Orobanche en géneros independientes y, por el contrario, se propone la nueva combinación Orobanche reuteriana (Rchb. f.) M.B. Crespo & A. Pujadas para reubicar dicho taxon en el género Orobanche. Además, se amplía su área de distribución a la provincia de Valencia.

Recently, Phelipaea reuteriana Rchb. f. has been demonstrated to have priority against Orobanche tunetana Beck, and consequently it has been revived in the genus Phelipanche Pomel (= Orobanche sect. Trionychon Wallr.). In the present contribution, the convenience to segregate sections of Orobanche in different genera is discussed on the basis of molecular data. Therefore, the new combination Orobanche reuteriana (Rchb. f.) M.B. Crespo & A. Pujadas is proposed to accommodate that taxon in Orobanche. Moreover, it is reported for the first time in Valencia province.
