Incentivando el auto-archivo en repositorios institucionales

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados de las distintas iniciativas llevadas a cabo desde el Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Alicante (RUA) para incentivar la participación de los docentes e investigadores de la Universidad, promoviendo la creación de comunidades y el auto-archivo de materiales docentes y trabajos de investigación. Entre las acciones comentadas en esta presentación se encuentran las diferentes convocatorias de ayudas económicas destinadas a las áreas de Docencia, Investigación y Revistas; la implantación de un módulo de estadísticas y la creación de un blog como canal de noticias y comunicación con la comunidad universitaria. Como conclusión se indican una serie de iniciativas a desarrollar a corto y medio plazo para aumentar el número de materiales incluidos en nuestro repositorio.

We present the results of the various initiatives undertaken since the Institutional Repository of the University of Alicante (RUA) to encourage participation of teachers and researchers from the University, promoting community building and self-archiving of educational materials and research. Among the actions mentioned in this presentation are the different calls for economic aid to the areas of teaching, research and journals, the implementation of a statistics module and creating a blog like news channel and communication with the university community. In conclusion points to a number of initiatives to develop short and medium term to increase the number of materials in our repository.
