Análisis multidimensional de la segregación socioespacial en Tandil (Argentina) aplicando SIG

Abstract

Las ciudades presentan un territorio con marcadas desigualdades socioespaciales, por lo cual es central conocer y analizar ciertas características constitutivas de estas diferenciaciones. En las ciudades Argentinas a partir del modelo neoliberal profundizado en la década de los noventa, estas desigualdades se ampliaron, como resultado de políticas con características excluyentes, que tendieron a favorecer y responder al mercado, y no a la sociedad como un todo desigual con necesidades diferenciadas. En este trabajo se realiza una contribución metodológica al análisis de la segregación socioespacial urbana tomando como caso la ciudad de Tandil. Se propone realizar un abordaje multidimensional de la segregación socioespacial, mediante los aportes de la cartografía temática y de la geografía cuantitativa, que combinados en un ambiente digital, como ocurre en los Sistemas de Información Geográfica, constituyen herramientas conceptuales y metodológicas fundamentales para captar, representar y analizar las desigualdades socioespaciales en la ciudad. A partir de la generación de información sobre este territorio socialmente diferenciado, se podrán elaborar efectivas estrategias de intervención política sustentadas en la inclusión e integración.

The cities present a territory with marked inequalities socio-spatial, reason why it is central to know and to analyze certain constituent characteristics of these difference. In the Argentinean cities starting from the neoliberal pattern deepened in the decade of the ninety, these inequalities were enlarged, as a result of political with characteristic excluding that spread to favour and to respond to the market, and not to the society like an all unequal one with differentiated necessities. In this work is carried out a methodological contribution to the analysis of the segregation urban socio-spatial taking like case the city of Tandil. Intends to be carried out a boarding multidimensional of the segregation socio-spatial, by means of the contributions of the thematic cartography and of the quantitative geography that combined in a digital atmosphere, like it happens in the Systems of Geographical Information, they constitute fundamental conceptual and methodological tools to capture, to represent and to analyze the inequalities socioespaciales in the city. Starting from the generation of information on this socially differentiated territory, they will be been able to elaborate effective strategies of political intervention sustained in the inclusion and integration.
